DIY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

The most awaited party of the year is coming. Build with us merry Christmas decorations to hang on the door and on the tree.

Let's start putting together what we need:

  • 1 ball of Calico yarn for each of the following colors: pink, red, white, black and green
  • Crochet No. 3.00
  • Circular needles no. 3
  • Wadding for stuffing
  • Jerseys
  • Wool needle
  • Metal circle of 20 cm in diameter
  • Polystyrene spheres of 7 cm and 8 cm in diameter
  • Red satin ribbons, 1 of which 0.5 cm high and 1 1.5 cm high

With crochet we will use these stitches:

  • Chain
  • Very low shirt
  • Low shirt
  • Half high shirt
  • High shirt
  • Double treble knit
  • Low stitch in back rib: like the single crochet taking only the back thread of the st. Basic.
  • Fur stitch: insert the hook in st. base, wrap the thread around the needle, hook the thread, taking it under the needle, so that 1 loop is formed, and pass it through the st. base, strand yarn on hook and pull yarn through sts. present on the hook, thus closing the st.

With needles we will instead work in stockinette stitch in the round (= all rounds knit)
